Honey Rice


3 cups of cooked rice
1/2 cup seedless raisins
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Combine rice, raisins, milk, honey, and butter. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in lemon peel and juice.

Makes 6 servings
